The PSOC’s passion and devotion to care for the destitute does not exclude the physically challenged. To improve mobility, special cycles and wheelchairs are distributed to the disabled free of charge. For those who have auditory or visual impairments, spectacles and any medical examinations, operations or referrals are afforded free by the Society.

One of our new initiatives, currently in progress, is to provide a school and hostel for blind children. This project is presently under construction (see ‘Future Projects’).

The Society’s assistance, support and care to the physically challenged have helped to give them an improved quality of life. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a person whom immobilized by their illness, are given the opportunity to gain their independence - from a disabled cycle, allowing them to be mobile, where before they had not the chance to do so!
